Creative Sparks is our signature art class where children enjoy exploring art media, techniques, and famous artists while improving hand eye coordination, problem solving, and communication skills.
All projects allow for creative choices, decision making, and imagination. No cookie cutter stuff here!
Most projects are finished in less than an hour (“one and done”) and low on mess! Perfect for after school clubs and enrichment, community centers, and homeschools.
Each day students learn a new art skill and use that knowledge to create an art piece. Classes also include books, art discussions, and sharing time.
Students will:
> express themselves through choice-based artmaking
> explore a variety of hands-on art techniques
> expand their knowledge of art and artists
> improve their hand skills as they create
> practice communication skills as they discuss their art process
> boost their problem solving skills and resilience
> have fun and create joyfully!
Classes are appropriate for children in TK/PK - Grade 5, and are often split into sections based on grade.
